    F-body/Vette LS6 intake. Any difference?

Is there any difference in an LS6 intake from a Corvette/GTO than one from a F-body as far as hooking up things like the throttle body, PCV, Purge solenoid hose, brake booster hose, etc? I'm aware of the lack of egr and the need for a different coolant bypass pipe/plugs.

    Alright! Cool.
What do you think of my this little upgrade plan I have going?
LS6 intake, Shaner S3 throttle body and LSXtune.com mail order tune to delete EGR, AIR, Rear O2s, and CAGS, plus whatever other little things they do.
Its probablly only about 15- 20 RWHP gain but I also lose a little emission weight and clutter.

same combo I run....you'll like that shaner tb. He does really nice work. Frost will be able to hook your tune up other than just deleting that stuff too.

There was a test done a little while ago that found that the F-Body LS6 Intake actually flowed slightly better than the Corvette/GTO LS6 Intake.

Just thought I throw that out.

Well I got everything done except the Shaner S3 throttle body. I paid for it but haven't seen it yet. Not sure what the hold up is.
I bought a "ZO6 Corvette LS6 Intake just removed from a 2001 Corvette" off of Ebay. Ended up the part number was for a F-body LS6 intake (stupid inaccurate Ebay listings). I had to pull a small chunk of metal out of it (a little upsetting) and clean it up. Yikes, if that metal fell into my engine, that would be bad. I ended up grinding the ridges off the bottom of the intake to fit over my existing coolant lines. I still had to kinda squish it down over them so I might just get the correct line/plug kit for it.

shaner does excellent work but he's slow as hell. It took my TB forever and a day to get here. It was worth the wait though.
There's no sense in getting the correct parts now since you've already butchered your $300 intake and half assed it.

    It least it was a LS6, rather than a LS1 advertised as a LS6.
