The F-body has been discontinued!

since production of the f-body has stopped since several years ago, is there problems that come up at dealerships like a lack of parts or are parts still being made for the LS1 ? anyone run into problems regarding the discontinuation of the f-body?

yes, i want a ground F/X piece that is for the front pass side and is like 2 feet long and GM wants $400 for it when the whole kit costs $650

yeah.......but this is indicative of how GM does business for any of the cars missing a small part of the ground FX, not just for these cars. I think he meant because they were discontinued and not made anymore, not really a pricing issue but an availability issue.

Concerning "discontinued vehicles" GM usually stocks parts for 7 years after the discontinuation.

I thought it was 10 years after the discontinuation of a make.

I've wondered this as well. GM only has to make parts for 7 years. But with the aftermarket growing for these cars, I don't see a problem for it.
