    Exhaust Gains?

Hey guys just reposting a thread thats probably been done 1000's of times. I'm about to do full exhaust on my stock LS1 WS6. Just wondering what gains people have recieved from doing a similar modification; Pacesetters LT, Pacesetters ORY, Corsa Cat-back?

bump, whats the exhaust gain for Long Tube headers, Off Road Y-Pipe and a Cat-back system... I would guess around 30 rwhp but that may be a little high.

little high but that 30rwhp would be the result of tuning/retune, not just bolt on and go. im not saying its possible cause im sure it's happened...

i gained 26rwhp/22rwtq after installing my LT's/ORY and SLP LM, with a retune...

id give you in the neighborhood of 20-25rwhp tuned, and possibly 25-30 tuned...

also to add dont think when you buy a cat back and the kit says " 25 hp" that you will get that. and then lt's another 25, then a lid 20 hp. dont work that way. friend did all that and only got 25 hp. all those advertisments are what the manufactors got at there best from, temp, car , differnet motor, set up , tune etc...

25rwhp would be a good bet.

And definitely, like the last guy mentioned, bolt on mods don't just add all the hp gains together.

I remember calculating hp gains based on ads for fun once. I got about 485hp with just bolt ons.
