Engine Problems!

So I went out to start the bird tonight and she sounds like shit! I have no idea what it is, or whats going on?!? I drove it a couple days ago with no problems what so ever...
First off its sounds funny, got a weird tick on the drivers side of the engine. Then I noticed that I had no oil pressure? No check engine light, service engine, or anything ... I was hoping some you guys could help me out, before I take it to a shop. My dad was thinking maybe a valve, or something? Any help is greatly appreciated to get me pointed in the right direction. Thanks!

No oil pressure is not a good thing. The tick is oil not getting to your valvetrain. Oil pump could have failed or clogged. Don't drive the car, get it checked out. You could fry your bottom end

Oh and the problem is mechanical so you will have no check engine light.

Thanks for the reply So take it to a shop and get it checked? We kinda figured the oil pump probably went out... How would you tell if the pump was bad? Hopefully its nothing major, that would suck balls! Thanks again!

Just drop a ls6 in that bad boy, you wont regret that now would ya. Now is the time to drop some money in it while its down. Dont be a puss spend some money.
