    ??? engine nioise ???

I just bought an 2002 z28 the car has under 17000 miles and regardless of the tempature i get a noise. It almost sounds like piston slap. It starts after my cars is started and runs a little bit. It isn't immediate. Once it starts, it doesn' stop, it does it until I turn the car off. It's is very noticeable. It is cold where I live right now. What should I do? Has anyone ever had a similar problem? Thankyou

Sounds like the all to common piston slap, Its normal and should quiet down a bit when it warms up. Its built loose and is an alum. block.
