    Engine help

Will an LS1 Engine fit into a 95 Camaro? or will i have to go with the LT1? I'm looking for an engine swap for my V6, so any help with it would be awsome. It's gonna be a street car, so i'll want to run AC and all the accessories, but would it be better to go with a generic small block 350? let me know what you think.

    Thanks,
    Dustin

It should but you'll need suspension upgrades for the extra front end weight.

    Yes the LS1 will fit!!!
No don't waste your time on the LT1!!!
And if your looking for drag performance you already have the springs you want for weight transfer!!

    Awww. You hurt my feelings.
I agree, do an LS1. As long as you are doing the swap, put the engine with the most potential in there. You will have to change the PCM and wiring harness, but the results will certainly be worth it.
IIRC, you will also have to change the transmission. Anyone else know about that?

    what state r u in?
better check the local smog laws first...
then find a wrecked donor vehicle, you r gonna need EVERYTHING
under that hood, accessories, wiring harnesses, computer, gauges, etc...
