Engine dimensions

I need some external engine measurements such as length, width, height. Is there a drawing that has these?

Specifically, I would like to know the distance from the center of the #1 spark plug hole to the bellhousing flange.

Welcome to the site!

I would have to check my manuals to see if any dimensional info is provided. Probably no way I could measure that accurately with the engine in the car as it is set back pretty far in F-bodies.

Thanks...........that is a start. I printed it out and can scale the dimensions and get close. The diagram shows the right side of the engine. #1 is on the left side. Do you know how much #1 cylinder is ahead of @2?

I'll probably need to find an engine (out of a car) to get an exact measurement.
