engine bucking @ high end torque

hey guys i got a question for ya'll. I got a '94 Firebird Formula 350 engine with 89k miles on it. I frequently drive it back and forth from Tennessee to Florida and its held up so far. This past trip i noticed something wrong whenever i would punch the gas. This only happens when i'm going 60mph and up when i punch the gas to change lanes or just to speed up, instead of getting the high end torque power the engine just bucks and i have to back off the pedal and allow it to slowly accelerate but for some reason it won't get to the power the car has. It almost seems like a cylinder misfire which leads me to think it could be a spark plug or spark plug wire since the car is around those miles and the plugs and wires have never been replaced.

Otherwise i have no idea what it could be...any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks Guys!

check your plugs and wires and it may be time to replace the opti.
