Things like this make me want to get a programmer that can store tunes in it.

Im sure that even a stock tune would run better, and risk the engine leas, than one that was "optimized" when the timing was off by over 10 degrees. At least then, it would be less risky to drive back for the retune.

Did the tuner know what the setup was? I would figure that theyd have a good idea that something wasnt right when the pulls came back weak, especially after the third or so.

so went in and had a few things changed in the tune. Gained a good amount of power and torque. Still have work to do to reach where I want to be power wise but this is a step in the right direction. You can see the results in the dyno from when we first dynoed the car with messed up timing a few days ago to today Attachment 26656

why are your pulls going to 5k range?

The stock rev limiter is at 6200 (well mine was).

Should have had a nice curve up to 5800 to 6000 rpms.

Did you check to make sure #8 was good after the timing issue was fixed?
