    Electrical problem

Ok Ladies and Gents, I have a PROBLEM!!!!!!!!

I have an electrical issue. The issue: A few times my interior lights (dash lights, HVAC, Radio lights (the radio still functioned just no lighting), Interior lights, and My tail lights would go out (brake lights worked just not running lights). Now my headlights worked but the fog lights would not work. Now I checked the fuse box and a fuse was blown (20amp) I don't recall the fuse location ( I will post as soon as I find out again). I tried to replace it and the new fuse would pop instantly.

I noticed that this happened when it rained or when I washed the car but it would not happen right away. So I began it investigate and found some condensation on the spoiler mounted brake light. I then proceeded to unplug the light and I tried to replace the fuse that had blown and it worked BUT a few days later it rained and the same issue happened again. I then a few weeks later (stopped driving the car at night) tried replacing the fuse and it worked again and since then I have avoided all types of fluids to avoid this happening again

If anyone has had a similar issue and solved it or if anyone thinks they might know what the problem is please please help!!!!! I no longer want to fear water

if the fuse is blowing you have a short. Probably a damaged wire, look for some bare, pinched or even burnt wires leading to all of those devices.

you need a wiring schematic for the fuse that is blowing so you can trace every wire, connector, and component that runs off that fuse.

The Fuse that keeps blowing is the 20 amp fuse for tail lamps

More often than not it is caused by corosion in one of your bulbs. Start checking the running lights, side markers etc. and it' a good pretty good bet you'll find a coroded bulb/socket.
