    E-bay HID kits

I learned a lesson about buying cheap off E-bay. I picked up a couple HID kits and already have a dead ballast. The seller won't warranty it for me, even though they claim to have 2 year warranties.

Can anyone point me to some ballasts that will last more then a few months?

Report them to ebay. If they say they have a 2 year warranty then they do and they have to replace it. Also by it being dead when you got it they falsely advertised the item if they said it was new and in good condition and ebay will make things right. But to answer your question if you google HID kits you will find a lot of places that sell them and some of them offer hassle free warranties. But as I have no personal experience with any of them I couldn't tell you about the quality.

that sucks! got some hids for my moms avalanche from ddmtuning. The driver side light turns off quite a bit then just flick her on and off and it finally stays, kinda weird. Me and my bro (blue02Z) have all 6 of ours from tspny.com complete water proof and ive had mine for almost 2 years, still bright as hell and working like a champ.

I bought my HIDs last week. I got them from eBay. I hope they last
My friend had the same brand I bought, he had it for 2 years no problems.

You should open I case against them.

Thanks for all the info, will probably just order some off ddmtuning. I also just noticed another problem, my fog lights are getting so hot they're starting to brown and bubble the fog light lens cover things, does anyone know if a 35watt kit will prevent that from happening?

If it is a 35watt hid kit it should. HIDs burn cooler than halogen.

Cool, thanks for all the helpful info! Will be placing an order in the next couple days to replace them all most likely.

adding a relay harness would probably solve her problem because it is direct power from the battery

I had issues with my driver side HID not firing(lighting Up) on my 2000 GTP. I was running stock harness. I installed the ZZP V-booster and never had the problem again. I"m not sure if the V-booster will work on our cars though. The best route would be the relay harness.
