    -= Forest & Forrest Racing =-

    Stock:
    >> •316 RWHP

    Note: came with SLP lid.

Note: this was a "top secrete magic cam” that a tunner and installer team sold me (for WAY MORE THEN I SHOULD HAVE EVER CONSIDERED PAYING) that was to deliver ~400 SAE RWHP (combined with headers), pass emissions, and provide a smooth idle, all without triggering a service engine light or impacting fuel economy greatly.

Well, it did provide 400 RWHP at Marken Performance, but I don’t think this was SAE, since the next time the car was dyno’d it was back to 316 RWHP. BUT the car wouldn’t pass emissions, idled like it had a huge cam, triggered the engine light, I get ~240 km per tank of gas, and the fuel trims don’t work. On top of that I have spoken to the installer several times about getting the old cam and manifolds (and other parts) back but he still hasn’t returned them.

(These are some of the reasons the car is going to Dasilva Motorsports – i.e., I need someone, other then the original installer, to get the car running properly.)

    --= Marken Performance =--

    With mild cam and exhaust:
    >> •~400 RWHP

With mild cam, exhaust, and 100 shot nitrous:

    >> With the top of the window switch set conservatively:
    >>>>>> • Best max HP = 491 rwhp @ 5450 RPM
    >>>>>> • Best max Torque = 565 RW FT-LBS @ 4150 RPM

    >> With the top of the window switch set conservatively and a little more fuel ("on the safe side"):
    >>>>>> • Max HP = 481 rwhp @ 5200 RPM
    >>>>>> • Max Torque = 555 RW FT-LBS @ 2800 RPM

NOTE: CLUTCH STARTED TO SLIP DURING DYNO and was then replaced with a Spec3+ clutch

    ------------------------------------------------

    --= Dasilva Motorsports =--

    ---=== Dasilva Motorsports ===---

    With mild cam, exhaust:
    >> •316 RWHP <--BACK TO STOCK??? WTF???

Now with heads, mild cam, exhaust, and retune:
    >> •385 RWH

With heads, mild cam, exhaust, and 100 shot nitrous:
    >> •451RWHP 461 RWTQ

I have to ask which/what dyno did you use (Mustang Dyno or Dynojet)?

Mustang gives a reading at the fly wheel while Dynojet gives a reading at the wheels. The difference has to do with how they formulate the inputs.

The average percentage of difference between the two is about 15%-20%.
