"system to lean right bank" (passenger side) check ur o2 and take a look at your header for any leaks.

also look for vacuum leaks around your intake manifold.

A bad O2 WILL NOT make your car run that bad. I would check for vacuum leaks first.

I disagree....a bad O2 can make a car run like ass. With that said, I'd look for vacuum leaks first. The hesitation is most likely due to it being so lean. Check the back of your pcv line going into the intake, they like to crack back there although I would think it would lean out both banks. Is the idle funny at all or is it just hesitating?

At idle the car sounds like I have a misfire when I drive the car it's hesitating real bad...

Please explain. I'm always willing to learn something new. I have never seen an 02 cause a severe drivability problem (except on an old Dodge) You could unplug all of you 02's and the car would run just fine. I'm not trying to argue but I would like to hear your input.

there's a difference between an unplugged O2 and a fouled or mis-reporting O2. I've seen O2's responsible for sooting exhaust tips do to incorrect fueling. They can wreak havoc if they're reporting inaccurately. If you unplug them the car just stays in open loop.

Ok, I guess I can't argue with that, but I really don't think an 02 will make his car run as bad as he is saying. But..... just because I have never seen it doesn't mean it can't happen.

Pete Rock 98- let us know what the problem was when you figure it out.

I'm definitely not saying that it's an O2 issue. I would look for a vacuum leak first but the O2's can have a drastic effect on fueling. If it stays on bank 2 I would probably swap the front O2's from side to side and see if the code follows it before replacing an O2. I typically count O2's as a maintenance issue anyhow and replace mine periodically.
