Driverside window problem
My driverside window will go down then won't go back up, have to wait a few minutes then it starts and stops again. I heard about the window motors going out but when it stops moving and I try the button up and down I hear a buzzing noise under the dash about the center of it. Gonna try and find where the noise is coming from, but until then any opinions and thoughts would help. Thanks

I think the noise you are referring to is the express down module. Sounds like your motor is overheating. There is a write-up online somewhere regarding rewiring the motor to prevent it from overheating and cutting out on you. Here is a write-up on replacing the power window motor. It also explains some of the issues you mentioned.

its probally your window motor be careful what motor you use. GM is now using china motors in there delco line. Dorman has motors made in the US Advance Auto carries them. make sure you look in the box before purchasing to see where the motor was made.

I'll also add that the Dorman motors carry a lifetime warranty and cost approximately $50 at Advance Auto. I replaced my passenger-side window motor about 2 months ago.

Thanks guys. Might try the jumper trick with the bigger wire, see how that works.
