Drivers side window works ------ sometimes

My drivers side window will let down 1/2 to 4 inches at a time ,
and lets up the same way. and sometimes it wont work at all,
then you wait a few minutes and it will move again then stop ,
,wait awhile and then it will move another inch or 2.
What the hell is up with that?

Do as both said above...your motor is done--fairly cheap and easy to replace--and check out the mod at autotrix...i have read nothing but positive results from people installing that mod.

^ But they don't have a drivers door mod done yet. Only passenger side.

The drivers side is due out in a couple of months.

Sticky at the top of the page will show you how to replace the motor.
Then with the Autotrix mod your motor will last.

Yeah take everyones word on this; its best to go ahead and replace your window motor. Our passenger kit is intended to help sustain long window motor life by allowing proper voltage and current flow.

I know that there are several people(my T/A is one of them) with original motors that have been greatly improved or woken up after installing our product; but that is not always the case.

My original passenger window lift motor is still kickin' with our first prototype wired in, and many have saved ( or pro-longed the inevitable motor replacement )their motors by installing our kit. If you are to buy our kit, and can still afford the motor, there would be no harm in installing our kit first just to see if it could cure your motor performance issues. If your motor still needs to be replaced, no big deal you already have one with you and it will last longer due to our kit already being installed.

    Thanks dlmeadows and 02WS6Dream
