Driver side window off track 2000 Trans Am WS6
I followed directions to change out a failed power window motor on the driver side and used rubber door stops to hold the window at half open while the motor is removed. The rubber stops slipped and so did the window. Now it's off it's tracks. Do I have to take out the entire up and down mechanism or should I be able to reset it in the door? So far my efforts to reset it in the door have failed and I can't find any specifics on doing this. Any input appreciated.
