    Driver side turn signal lamp on when lights are off????

    I don't get it my Driver side turn signal light is on when I start my car, and all the lights are off but my driver side parking light says on until I cut the car off. Any ideas as to why??

    check it for water......fairly common for water to get in the housing and it'll usually corrode the socket causing a short. Sockets are cheap and easy to replace. If you do find that's the case seal that up so water can't get back in. Another place you see it a lot is on the back lights....one will be darker than the other and that's a sign water is getting into the housing.

    Are you talking about the day time running light, the light on the front of the car that also is a turn signal?

    Or the side marker?
