help!! still looking for missing wire on red 54 (fuel sender 02 cam) anybody have a harness with this issue?

Hadn't heard from you and thought maybe you had this one figured out. Do you have wiring schematics for the '02?

thanks for the reply. yes i have looked at mitchell & all data diagrams and they both show the fuel sender hard wired with ppl wire to red 54 which my harness 02 z28never had i guess. the engine came from a dismantler and appears to be bone stock.my concern isn't the fuel gauge op it's the evap test. im assuming the pcm wants to hear about fuel tank level. the cars i work on (porsche) need to report tank level and other information to run an evap test. thanks again.

you had to have a level sender at one time or another.....on the 98's the sender is ppl/wht to red52 I believe and 99+ was red54. I'm guessing in your harness you can't find the ppl wire or something? It's either there and you're missing it or it's been cut.
