Dome and Map Lights Problem

My dome and map lights will not go off when the car is running.
I recently replaced my interior bulbs with Blue LEDs and installed a pod with gauges. No matter how long I leave the car run the lights stay on and no the switch is not on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. jwcej@msn.com

Have you checked the hatch switch although I would think that would make the interior lights come on whether the car was running or not.

Is this a new problem since the LED and gauge install? If it is how did you wire the gauges in? Might have something to do with it.

whenever you hooked up the lights for the gauges you might have hooked up the wrong ground or power to the wire that contoles the interior lights...if you hooked it up to the ignition switch power of anything that has full power when its running like the stereo you will get this problem...but go back and trace your wires and see what you come up with .... keep us posted tho

YES it is new since Installing the LED and guages. I also unhooked the power and wire going to switch and they still stay on? I'm going to try removing and installing the orginial bulbs in the map and dome. Any help would be greatly appreciated. jwcej@msn.com
