I ordered my rotors of line. EBAY...
Anyway as far as pads I went down to Autozone and got those. Nothing special. I also bought some siliglide grease at NAPA.

Don't get rotors from Autozone they suck....I had to turn them within the first two weeks of having them on my car. Get your parts from Napa.

you can't beat Summit's extreme performance drilled a slotted rotors they're cheap and can take a beating. I haven't had any problems with mine. I use EBC green stuff brake pads, also sold at summit

I purchased Baer Eradaspeed rotors, and Hawk HPS pads, plus had Russell SS braided brake line hose installed with the brake job, quite a difference from stock.

    I purchased everything from Tbyrne.

Why should I avoid drilled rotors?

i've had them on my 740IL BMW for two years with no problems. Porsche's and other high end cars come stock with them?????

    Drilled or dimpled?

Unless the car is a track (road course) car only, drilled is overkill. They also tend to crack on our cars.

I check my summit rotors at every oil change. I got 20k on them with no cracks.

I machined the stock rotors and used GM pads. But I here good things about Hawk pads!
