Does a K&N air filter work if not oiled ?
What happens if you just clean it but dont oil it ?

it'll stop bigger stuff but not the dust particles and dirt. it uses the oil to make it cling to the filter

It says in the manual never to run it without oil. It is pretty much worthless and a lot of dirt and shit will get right past it. It uses oil because of the oil being sticky and catching what the large pores in the cotton do not. Hope that helps
