My car came with the shiny black covers and alum (bright) wheels. When they started looking bad a few years later I got 20 new wheel nuts and 20 chrome (plastic) covers from SLP, the black ones are even cheaper...Used 4 of the nuts to do away with the wheel locks, still have the others sitting around somewhere.

Do the SLP chrome covers fit the stock nuts and locks like the original black plastic ones?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

I bought some at NAPA. Much cheaper than a dealer.
They also have the plated lug nuts. I replaced the locking nuts on my car.

If you want, I can not send these and you can order a set of Gorilla chrome lugs.
That is why I had the covers sitting around in the first place. I hate those little bastard covers.
Let me know before Monday afternoon.

Why not just replace the GM lugs (and the stupid plastic caps) with real chrome lugs? It was one of the first things that I did when I got my car: cheap but practical upgrade. You can also get black anodized lug nuts if you like that look.

I got a full set of lug nuts and caps from SLP for like $30 delivered. Then people quit stealing them--sshhhht.......... Seemed to be getting them stolen a couple at a time for a while-found some of them loose also, was thinking maybe they were falling off. Anyway I got plenty of spares if I ever need them.
