disc brakes
i'm getting ready to change the front disc brakes.........not mechanically inclined but i do have common sense.......any suggestions or special tools ?

No special tools required, the closest thing to a special tool would be a c clamp to expand the rotors but its still not 100% necessary. If you do it without one just unscrew the Master cylinder lid and before you unbolt the caliper you can pull hard enough from the back of the caliper towards you to expand them or use a prying tool in the slot on top to spread them. After that theres only 2 bolts holding the caliper to the bracket and 2 bolts holding the bracket to the car. Common sense should let you find them. You might need a wrench to hold the nuts on the caliper bolts but not always I've only had to use one a few times on mine. If the rotors have never been removed there will be little tabs holding the rotor on the studs a flat head screwdriver will let you unscrew them off. Everything is metric btw.
