Difference betwween 96 and 99? Need Info

Hey my buddy has a 96 formula stock automatic, I have a 99 trans am stock automatic. Whats the difference in hp, and how close would the race be?

if you two go from a dig, he will get you out of the hole cause of the low end torque on the lt1, but you would reel him in and over take him easily.

main difference... LS1 not an LT1 lol, dont even worried about it you will do fine
