Deltran Battery Tender

I got a Deltran Battery Tender today and have a quick question;

The ring terminals on the cable that connects permanently, seem a little bit of a tight fit for the side terminal bolts. Do the holes in the rings need to be made a little larger or will they go on with a bit of gentle persuasion?

See if the bolt will thread into it, could also open it up that way. If you drill it larger careful the bit don't grab it and twist the end off...

^^ This. I have a Deltran Battery Tender but have never installed the pigtail on any of our vehicles. Try and thread the bolt through it and if that doesn't work go ahead and open up the hole a touch with a file or something.

Or you could just put different terminals on it that fit.

I just delt with this last weekend. I went down to my local orielly's and bought terminals with the bolt that screws into them. They are gold plated and cost roughly $15 together.
