Thumbs up Damn, my Z28 runs clean!

Here is a copy of my emissions I got today, not sure if you Americans get a print out but I think my car is pretty clean. Does anyone have emissions report for a 4 or 6 banger, I would be curious to see how they compare to my Z.

I run only Ultra 94 from Sunoco and with every tank I add a shot of fuel injector cleaner (winter formula w/gas line antifreeze) to get rid of any water and a can of Pennzoil octane booster. I have used that combo for 3yrs. straight and never run another brand of gas. Although I do not baby my car, I think it helps that on a regular basis I bang the gears up to 6000 rpm through to the end of 4th, but if I drive nice I can get 500 KM's (aprox. 312 M) per tank. I have all pollution control from factory including stock cats.

I've had the same results, clean as a whistle. The car is fairly stock with a Magnaflow exhaust. Who would have thought.
I'm serious looking at a head/cam upgrade some I'm looking through LS1 to gauge how that might effect emissions? I'm assuming if I don't touch the catalytic converter (I might add AR with Cats) then I'd be fine. humm?

Ya, that would suck spending all that money for H/C swap, then finding out you failed emissions! I was wondering the same thing with long tube headers and high flow cats! I have around 75,000 Km's and I use ZEX powertune plugs.

Got you beat bro. Just had my 01 Z28 (Sara) smogged yesterday at a "test only, state run facility" These are the higher numbers @ 15 MPH:

    HC (PPM): 08

    CO: .03

    O2: .02

    NO (PPM): 13

I use 91 octaine premium, and gumout fuel system cleaner once a year.

Got a printout to prove that! Pretty easy to type in numbers.

Also our tests are done at 40 KPH (25 MPH) so it is not a good comparison. You can see in the test my rpm's are at 2105, no wonder you think your numbers "got me beat"

I am giving you the higher numbers @ the lower speed, the vehicle was taken up to 25 MPH too, and with 3.73 gears, my RPM was probably higher.

No biggie, your vehicle is running very clean.

True dat! It would be pretty lame to get into a ball swinging contest over emissions, LOL. Peace!
