    Cutout installation

Im going to get a set of dual cutouts for my new ORY and was wondering if I should get them installed when the ORY in laying in the garage or when its on the car.. Im afraid that they wont line up after welding in cutouts after installation.

    Opinions?

I agree, but on the same token why dont you just stick with one cutout in the I pipe? Fits perfect and snug.
Although i can see the concern for them not being adjusted right and not fitting.

There isnt enough room near the I Pipe. Everything is stock exhaust except for the catback, and the ORY I got was stock manifolds to stock tails is fixing that. Its got two spots that I can get to without jacking the car up.

Be ready for a power loss and too much noise.

One single one on the I-pipe for most any LS1 car will work much better. Right before where the catback starts.

The only place I have like that is way too close to the driveshaft. Ill get the car up on stands tonight and do some measurements. I ran open y-pipe/turndowns on my truck before and it made the high end sound like the valves were going to rattle apart.
