    Cts-v brakes leaking.....

So I did a CTS-V brake swap and I find brake fluid beaded up on the line just where I bolt it up to the caliper. I was wondering what would cause this? The bolt is tight so I have no clue why this is happening.

    ^This.

Check to make sure the line/fitting/caliper isn't cracked or split also.

I don't think so but I will swap them out to be sure.

This should be apparent right? I will check but these calipers and lines haven't been used at all so I am doubtful that it has and cracks or splits in it, they haven't been on the road since the install.

Okay I looked and I don't see any cracks. I am going to replace the washers to see if that helps at all. I have another question, you know that clip that holds the line to the body of the car? On one side it clipped it just fine but the other side I can't get the caliper side line forward enough to secure it with the clip. I have been trying to figure out how without damaging the hardline. I will take a picture of what I am talking about.

    Update....

I fixed the problem. I just unbolted and re-bolted the line back in idk why it stopped leaking. It must have not been seated right, my reservoir is full too.

good to hear......hopefully you bled them again. Air in a brake line can lead to some very bad things.
