    Cruise Servo Location?

Where is CC servo located on 2001 Trans Am? I recently bought an 01 WS6 that had auto to 6spd conversion done, and CC does not work? I'm wondering if it may be the servo, or they did not wire right at pedals? Thanks for any help.

So it's the black unit with the 3 cables? My car does have traction control, so only one cable goes to throttle right?

The previous owner might not have re-attatched the CC cable to the throttlebody. You're going to have to do some tracing to find where the end of the other cable is.

I thought I read on here that car with traction control only has one cable going to throttle?

My crappy Haynes manual doen't even have a pic of the later set up,it only shows the box under the car.

Its pretty much useless for help.

Its been a while since I have been under the hood of an 00- 01-02 V8 so I can't remember the set up.

My V6 is drive by wire.

    It wasn't much help.

Some GM shops sell off the manuals for cars after 10-12 years when the model run is over.

I think I may re-check my area dealers tommorow.

Thanks for making me think about it again

OP, are you getting any codes? I found an old post about clutch switch issues that was disabling the cruise. But the post included throwing an SES light.

No CEL coming on. This car had a T56 swap, and from what I read, you are suppose to change one of the switches to the clutch pedal, but both are still on the brake pedal?

Looks like you need to put one switch to the clutch pedal bracket.

    This^^

Without the switch on the brake or clutch CC will never work.

It has both switches on the brake pedal. I'm wondering if it could be due to the tune. I have read where it would need to be tuned for the MN6 due to the swap.

I don't know if a tune would help. You need to put the clutch switch in the slot for the clutch pedal.
