46 bucks from autozone.. havent heard of breaking that sensor.. I thought it was the oil sending unit that always broke doing the intake swap.

Yeah that's the GM part number - stay away from the dealer if you can, their list price on gmpartsdirect is $73 now. Yikes.

i dropped my last torque converter bolt down between the flywheel and the pan and it took almost an hour to fish it when i was putting my tranny back in and it took almost an hour to fish it out......worst thing is i dropped it back in the same spot 3 times!!!!

mark--little off the subject but what do you use to get the lower gear off (crankshaft)for a timing chain swap?

harmonic balancer bolt is...i think 1 1/4" after you get it off, and front cover, bolts out of end of cam, it should come off with a good tug...if not gently try a pully puller (the type with the two flappy arms)

i got it tore all the way down to that bottom gear. oil pump is off. is there a key way in on it ? i dont think a 3 arm puller will work. is there some kind of flat puller for this ?
