silver- 2002 camaro ss
corvmero? zo6 parts that fit my 2002 ss
hello i am asking for help cause theres a guy selling the drive train and suspension from a zo6. . Could i convert my f body for the irs set up ? Or if not what parts could i use out of i?. I know theres a experimental camaro that was a corvmero were gm put a fifth gen camaro body on a vett chasis.
Any info on this set up would be appriciated

you're looking at a lot of work to get IRS in you camaro... i think i remember something about someone putting a C4 IRS in thierr car...

to much work for min gains imo. if there is nothing wrong with the camaro, leave it that way.

Plenty of work yes but the gains would be worth it.. ANY IRS will be better than a pickup axle in the handling department.. I plan to do one on my 01 and can't see a down side to it.. However I also do fab for a living. If you plan to do the conversion you'll need a facility and the equiptment to do it right.. There are no hard points in that area for mounting the diff, so a cage frame would most likely have to be built to handle the power and carry the componets then be incorporated into the unibody.. Yeah it will cost some bucks but imho well worth the effort and an excellent idea/mod.. Just my .o2..
