is this correct....potential buyer

may be trading my car for an 01 camaro z28. he is making this thing sound like a beast and i just want to verify it before i proceed. he says its a mid 12 second car and pushing over 400 hp. here is the mod list:

cam- he wasnt able to tell me what kind
long tube headers with slp loudmouth exhaust
LS6 intake
slp cold air intake
3.73 gears

he is saying the idle is rough on it so i am guessing it is a pretty high lift cam. i know these things make 310 hp stock, but thats not to the rear wheels. im just wondering what your guesses are horsepower wise and what you think it could turn in the quarter. im an avid racer and looking to get back into it, just don't know enough about these cars. thanks guys. just making sure i am not being jerked around.

have you seen it? a lot of people say teh slp loudmouths rasp with longtubes. the rough idle can also be a mildish cam with a smaller LSA. my fastest was a 13.4 that was bone stock, i put a slp loudmouth cat back and it went to 13.6. ive only done 6 passes, as its a DD and that 1/4 mile is a shit-ton of wear on your car.

it seems ive read on here that there are a few factory freaks that run high 12's so a mid 12 could be believable... if the driver knows what hes doin.

I can help clarify a few things. Stock these cars do dyno 290-310 at the rear wheels. The ls6 intake comes on all 01+ ls1s stock. If I were you I would try to dig up info on the cam, and wether or not there were other upgrades like valvesprings/retainers etc. I picked up an 01 just over a month ago and already put on 8k km on it. Runs like a dream so far.
