    Coolant in the radiator

how much coolant should be in the radiator after the car has been parked a day or so? I couldn't see any coolant in the radiator but the tank was full.My car never overheats but I had the water pump replaced a few months ago and I'm not sure if the system was bled. would "burping" the radiator be a good idea?

Sounds like it already burped. Cap it off & check the reservoir too. As it gets hot, it overflows to the reservoir & sucks it back in when it cools. So, check the radiator cap rubber gasket too.

while checking it again and adding coolant I see that it is only about 6 ounces from being full. Should I be worrying?

I doubt it. Just keep an eye on it for a while.

alright because the temp gauge is never reading hot( its even a "real" gauge) and the coolant level isn't dropping
