coolant questions
Its time to flush the coolant in the SS. what is the best coolant or coolant mixture to use?

impulse blue- 2004 pontiac gto
just use a approved coolant and distilled water I use a 75-25 mix in all my cars except the nova then i use straight water with water wetter but it doesnt see any winter weather at all and it is a track time car anyway

Yeah mine is a garage queen. It comes out on nice days. the coolant is definitely ready to be changed though. thanks

from what i've read, gm dexcool works good, ls1howto with my camswap just recommended to dump it in and fill the rest with water and you are good to go. I am running mostly water to help flush out my system and i'll be running that mixture, but then again I can get away with a lot of water being in south florida.
