    Coolant light...coolant level full.

Just as the title says, I keep getting a low coolant level light, but the radiator, and the overflow tank are both full. The light doesn't come on right away and is very sporadic. Sometimes i can ride around for hours before it comes on (like i did yesterday), while other times, i can drive for 5 minutes and it pops on. Temp level never gets past the first notch or 185. I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who's went through this, so there's probably a sticky on this. Can someone please send me some suggestions or a link to the sticky. Help would be appreciated, the light is driving me crazy. thanks guys.

Most likely just the sensor going bad or gunked up. You can take it out and clean it to see if that'll work, if not either replace it or just unplug it - that'll keep the light off.

Sensor. No biggie at all. Look about two inches down on the cap side of your radiator.....easy as hell ...I just replace em....cheap at NAPA or AutoZone.....or you can just unplug the thing if you want...

thanks guys. I may just unplug it since to keep the light off until I get around to replacing it. I'm pretty good about checking my levels so I should be fine. Thanks for your responses.

I took me sensor out and cleaned it and the well it sits in and it works fine now. If that does'nt do it just disconnect the pig tail to keep the light off....
