    Convert Power seat to Manual

Hey guys this is the first of what may be many many questions. But I have a 2000 Trans Am that the drivers seat doesn't work. The motors and stuff are good just haven't hunted down the reason it doesn't work yet. So i drove the car home 2 of 4 hours with the seat in position for a guy a lot shorter tha me... and it's a M6

So is there any way to get maybe a manual base I like the look of the leather seats currently in the car. and don't really have the money to buy nice racing seats.

Have thought of racing seats are there any more comfortable thean these T/A seats.

Both the Power lines and Vaccume lines have been disconnected from the seat

    Thanks in Advance!

You can just take the manual track and bolt it it in place of the old track. The only problem would be getting the manual plastic side also because once you take the electric out your plastic will have holes.

I would just look into actually fixing what is wrong with yours, it cannot be that difficult. I just had to mess with mine and it was just a bad motor.

Thanks I'm going to look into both actually. the car is in storage, don't want it out in the snow/ice/rain right now. so that totally sucks.

Any ideas on where for the manual seat track?

Junkyard or contact CamaroMotorsports who is a member here. He has a couple hundred F-bodys and one of em is bound to have a manual drivers seat.

Just going to have to find a seat at a salvage. If you would have posted a week ago I just thru my old manual seat out, I replaced it a few months back with a new seat from salvage that happened to be electric.

Here in Tulsa we have a salvage that deals in F-Body's almost 100% you can probably find one in your area if we have one
