    Cold Start Ticking Noise

    Ok for the past few mornings I've noticed that my car has a funny tick,tick ,tick when Idling during a cold start. Is this normal? its def coming from the engine bay. The car only has 60k miles, LS1 M6. it does go away once the car reaches operating temp. thanks for any help!

    Thats more than likely the famous piston slap ls1's are known for. Nothing to worry about about unless it gets really loud or doesnt go away.

    Thats what I thought, so is their no cures for this? It does go away once its hot but Just Curious what happens when it gets too loud? KAboom?
