    clutch problems please help

i have a 99m6 ws6 I am having a problem with the clutch which just started a few days ago. it feels like the first 1-2 inches of travel have no resistance at all. the reamaining travel feels fine but the big problem is that the clutch is becoming stuck to the bottom of the floor. I have to pull it up and then push it down and pull it back up a few times after which the clutch will work fine for a few more rotations thrue the gears. it seems to stick more frequently when the car is driven hard. I have cheked the fluid and toped it off. I have been told that I may need to bleed the clutch, replace the slave cylender, and possibly replace the entire clutch. can you guys (and girls) please help me out with what you think this might be and what course of action to take, and if possibly could somebody give me the down and dirty has how exactly to bleed a clutch. I know the bleed valve is located near the bell housing, but that is about it, is it like bleeding brakes? Any coments would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks again

Sounds like the slave to me. There is little room for air to get into the system unless there's some kind of leak. How much did you have to top it off?

Bleeding is straight forward - just need two people. Open top line, pedal down & hold, reconnect top line, pull pedal up. Repeat and top off fluid once more. At least, that's how we did mine.

Are you sure the sticking pedal is not something silly like the floor mat getting in the way? Also, you might want to look into the master cylinder drill mod. There's a line connected to the master cylinder that has a restriction that should be drilled out for better flow.
