    Clunk in reverse

When I start the car and go to put it in reverse it makes a metallic clink sound. You can hear it at the 31sec mark. I tried to do it again but it seems I can only get it to do it once.
Guessing it's the u-joint but I thought i'd ask here.

All I hear is motor.. But could be a universal joint going, lash between the ring and pinion. Or torque arm/ trany mount issue starting.. But this is all speculation..

That sound is coming from your trans... it is completely normal, some cars do it louder than others. It just part of the design of the 4L60E and it happens when you put it in reverse. In fact, there is a part in the transmission to help soften this noise called the "anti clunk spring" ... if the trans has ever been rebuilt, i may have been left out and this noise would be louder than normal, but I wouldn't worry about.
