    Check Engine Light

I just picked my Camaro up from the body shop and now the check engine light is on. It runs perfect and I didn't notice anything wrong. They only removed the plastic piece around the filler neck for the gas tank and dropped the bumper on the drivers side.

Any ideas as to what it could be? (I don't have a code scanner otherwise I'd know LOL)

stop by an autoparts store, most have a scanner and will read your codes for free.
without knowing which code is being thrown, all we can do is guess

Make sure your gas cap is screwed down tightly.............if not, it will trigger your check engine light

Did they drain the tank in order to take the filler neck off? I know these cars "can" run on regular, and when I first bought mine, I tried 87 a few times. W/o fail, every single time I tried it, the O2 sensors kicked out trouble codes. Ran premium...and it was fine. Maybe they refilled it w/ regular.

    Nope, they didn't need to.

hmm....o2 heater ckt malfunction B2 S1 low o2 voltage B1 S2. Kind of o2 because that's passenger side pre cat O2 heater ckt, then drivers side rear post cat o2 sensor. I would check to see if they pinched a wire when racking or jacking up the car to those sensors

On the octance issue, when I run octane booster in mine, it throws a code too. However it was an emission code. Doesn't help the OP, but thought I would mention.
