Changing fuel pump in a camaro????

Well I was attempting to drop the gas tank out of the camaro to change my fuel pump, and I noticed that I had to remove the panhard bar. I got to of the bolts free and yep the 3rd one stripped. Just wondering if it is possible to get the tank out without removing the panhard bar? Also just wondering if i could possibly get to it buy making a hatch from the inside of the trunk?

You CAN cut an access panel on the rear deck instead of dropping the tank - two guys in our club have done it. I'll look for the link and PM it to you.

And there will always be a debate about that little access panel.

Personally, I will just drop my tank.
