Poly bushings ill stiffen up the ride quite a bit. If you like a soft, spongy ride, stick with rubber bushings. You'll feel more vibration through the polys, but the suspension won't wash out as much so it will handle better.

Greasable poly bushings will be less likely to squeak, but you generally need to buy the entire suspension component to get them. Absent that, polygraphites are good and usually come with grease to lube them upon installation.

    Thumbs up

I put the Hypertech in my 98 and I almost Love them. Almost because I bought the Red, I called and asked what the difference was between the Red and Black (Summit racing) and was told there was no difference. The handleing is Fantastic better than New! BUT the Red Squeaks like HELL, if I could do it again I would definitly go with the Black some people say they don't squeek as bad. I did my complete suspension front and rear.

    From Energy Suspension:

Difference between red bushings and black urethane bushings: Both red and black bushings are performance polyurethane bushings however black bushings by Energy Suspension are impregnated with graphite which has a lubrication quality... lubrication.

Great info to have as my Camaro ages. Will stick with the black for sure. To bad about your red bushings. Squeeking sucks.

Found this out after I bought the red trans mount. Needless to say, the motor mounts I bought are black...
