    Catalytic converter warranty?

I was just curious as to what the GM extended parts warranty is on the catalytic converters...more specifically the passenger side one. I read several threads on here that said 10 years or 120,000 miles. I also read a few said it is 8 years or 80,000 miles. I went today to the Pontiac dealership they told me 8 years 80,000 miles. I have a 2000 TA with 103k on the clock just curious if it was extended or not. Thanks

    Catalytic Converter Warranty

From Infor on this site, dated 2008-09-05 by Member names CUTLASS,
go to your dealer again ask them to check GM Bulliten Subject : 05513- Special Coverage Adjustment. My 2002 Camaro with 116,xxx miles IS COVERED, I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow to have them do the Dion. Test and if it is the Convertors, most likely is According to the dealer..P0420 & P0430 Codes. They will replace them. They previously told me NO it was not covered. After I gave them the info they said YES.

8/80K was the original federal emissions warranty, was extended to 10/120K on the 00-02 cars back in December of '06. Try another dealer, call the GM tool free number and complain...if you need the actual letter I have a copy of it saved on my computer somewhere and can email it to you. You can also look up P0430 at gearchatter.com for your year, most likely the cat, but can be something else.
