    Car won't start, ideas?

Well my car is out of commission and I can't stand it.

Battery seems to be fine, lights burn bright, locks work, radio and subs work fine...
When I try to start it, it just clicks...

Now I must also mention that I am having problems with my clutch, the braided hose going from the master cylinder to the slave is leaking slightly.

    Any ideas?

starter or solenoid, or just needs a little wire loving. Make sure all the wires on the starter are clean and tight. If that's fine then have someone crank it and give the solenoid a harsh love tap with a large wrench or something to see if that gets er to hit it. If neither of those does the trick, I'd say get a starter. Another not so common problem is that your battery doesn't supply enough CCA (cold cranking amps) to start it when it's cold. Try to jump it off to see if it will start, and once it warms up see if your battery will start it

get the battery tested somewhere(autozone) first. If all your connections are tight and the battery tests good-as previously suggested -replace the starter. If none of this works call the tow truck, you've got a one percenter, you won't be able to diagnose it.We need to know where the clutch line is leaking from in order to help you there-if it's something that can be retightened -do so-if not -replace.

The braided hose going from the Clutch master to the clutch slave is leaking, It seems to be leaking from the hose itself, not the connections at the end.
I've got to go into work but I'll try to get ti figured out tomorrow, thanks guys!

Just had the same thing happen to me on a 2 year old battery, voltage read good but when I got it load tested it was toast...mine just clicked too.

if the battery is good then I would say its the starter!! the clicking noise you hear is the solenoid in the starter engaging.

as far as the hose, thats and easy fix!!

Yeah, if I can find the damn hose anywhere
It looks liek I'll have to buy the complete master cylinder just to get the hose
