car shakes plus sound from steering knuckle( read to see if normal)
well today i hit around 85-95 not hard just cruising and it was shaking a lil bit. just a lil but when hit almost 100 was lil more. i know its going to happen the faster i go but heres some other worries.
i would like for anybody to try this on there car to see if mine is fine. PLEASE
have car in park/running. and turn the wheel right and let go. (theres a small klunk) i know its coming from the knockle but when i turn the car left it doent make that noise.
its still under warrenty and just rotated my tires 2 weeks ago

it also drives 100% it only has 30,000.
if it would be steering, it would be for the left to right movenment, not just to one side
put for real if anyone can plase try that exercice if you could. like i said its a super small noise i didnt mean a klunk.

My steering is absolutely quiet doing the turning exercise you mentioned. Jack the front end up from the frame and have both front wheels hanging free. Check for any looseness or play by shaking the wheels side to side and up and down (at 3 + 9 and 12 + 6 positions). With a large prybar try moving the wheel up and down with the prybar inline with the wheel. If nothing is loose then you don't have any safety issues to worry about. Chasing noises down can be difficult at best-have a shop look at it if it gets louder and bothers you.

thanks for trying it. ihave a extended warrenty soo i guess if ther eis something wrong it will be for free

could be the bearing in the strut mount or a ball joint.

im still waiting to go back to the dealership, just bc i think its a normal noise to be onnise, but i got time and it still drive perfect

Just tell them you have a noise that bothers you -and let them try to diagnose it. If you tell them what you want fixed then it's your diagnosis and your problem if you're wrong.
