    Car running like crap in rain. Need help asap!

    I need quick. I'm in New Orleans away from home and my car is running like crap. About 7 weeks ago I had LT headers, Exhaust, plugs and wires installed on my car and had it tuned. I've noticed my car's gas mileage has dropped from 18 mpg to 14 mpg. It is also turning my bumper around my tips brown as well. My problem now is that it is raining here and my car is bogging down when trying to accelerate and will barely idle. It is a 02 trans am. Any help will be great!!!!

    Don't know - maybe a loose plug/wire/02 sensor wire arcing against the header somewhere? You didn't mention any codes, but I'd have it scanned at Auto Zone or Advance. If you're throwing a MAF code check the ENG SEN fuse. Just a couple thoughts....

    When it was tuned they deleted the rear 02 sensors. Its not throwing any codes. I checked the plug wires and they seem to be tight. I was thinking it might be the o2 sensors. Just wondering what they would cause your car to do when they go bad?

    Even though you probably didn't change altitude much it's wortha try resetting the PCM by unhooking the NEGATIVE battery cable for at least an hour.
