Idle air control valve may be going out.

I put a little in the gas tank the rest in the crankcase... where is the idle air control valve at? and how much is it to replace...

Actually now that I think about it, maybe it is the fuel filter like jad628 said. If the filter is really clogged, then it may take a couple of tries for the fuel to push through the restriction on a cold start. I would try changing the filter first, since it probably needs to be done anyway. The idle air control valve would probably set a code, however, I have seen them act up without setting a code. Is the service engine soon light on? The idle air control valve is located on the throttle body.
