Can you recommend a board member who rebuilds LS1s?

I have what seems to be a spun rod bearing. I've got my bone stock LS1 motor pulled and on a pallet. Looking for a reputable dude who might be able to help me with a rebuild. I have all the accessories pulled, fluids drained and motor cleaned.

    Your help would be appreciated!

Ever consider a short block? By the time you replace parts and have whatever machining done... you may be further ahead.

Hmmm, yeah Jeff is on the same track I would be on. How many miles does that LS1 have? Machine work is always a 50/50 dilema, then there is the wait. Being near Dallas I would think there should be alot of reputable machine shops in that area, Dallas is huge.
On the other hand, I know Texas Speed is about 300 miles from you and they have some of the best deals on stroker short blocks you'll find. If I were you I'd be tempted to drive over there and pick one up and call it done.
