can I plug my heater hose conn?
Not using a heater core. Can I plug my heater hose connections without the engine running hot?

I have seen this answered both ways. For what it is worth, they make bypass caps that you can buy at most parts stores.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
I think your better off to loop them together with a short piece of hose.

Loop them. The pump is designed to push out one and draw from the other, the flow in the pump should be better with with these two sections functioning.

thanks for the help. Had the pump tapped for pipe plugs. Guess i'll just install some fittings and loop'em together. no need to worry about the winter coat RKVETTE. no way i'm driving that thing in the winter. Mickey thompson slicks probably don't get the best traction in snow.
