Cam Position Sensor Ground
Im getting a P0342 Cam Position Sensor Low Voltage after installing my new Trans. I Know we damaged my Oil pressure sending unit reinstalling the intake and i had to replace that. I really dont want to pull the intake back off if i dont have too. I have a feeling this code is being caused by a bad ground. Does anyone know where the ground for the Cam Position sensor leads too?

Don't think it has a dedicated ground, just 3 wires - possibly the PNK/BLK wire going to the PCM? Maybe this will help, you can click on the diagram to enlarge it. www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic8873.php

I figured it out. one the connectors where the EGR is was not clipped all the way. the wire ran to this connector... good thing i didnt pull the intake and replace the sensor.
